Research And Design Application Of“Xiaoyi Traditional Paper-cut Art”

Xiaoyi paper-cut is a unique form of folk art in Luliang area of Shanxi Province.It is a relatively active and common way of emotional transmission in folk life,with traditional themes as its main manifestation.For thousands of years,Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut has been handed down from generation to generation with the efforts of paper-cut artists.Traditional paper-cut techniques are mostly in the hands of rural women,but in recent years,the pace of rural demolition and urban transformation has greatly reduced the application space of traditional paper-cut,and paper-cut is urgently required to find a new way of survival.In this paper,based on the relevant research in academia,combined with field research,from the following parts of the study:The first part,for the introduction,mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance of the paper,collates and summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars on the Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut research status,elaborates the main research content of the paper;In the second part,starting from the study of folk art,through interviewing the successors,we can understand Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut as comprehensively as possible,and systematically grasp the overall situation of Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut,including the content,form and structure of traditional paper-cut and its differences with other areas in Shanxi.The third part,using case analysis method,classifies the paper-cut cases in the design application,summarizes the characteristics of excellent cases,so as to provide reference for the fourth part of the design practice.The fourth part is the combination of theoretical research and design practice.On the basis of Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut,it focuses on the "Year Culture" in folk activities and launches graduation design practice.Filial piety traditional paper-cut is the static deduction of local living folk activities,is the emotional transmitter and guardian of people's happy life.Through sorting out the artistic characteristics of Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut,analyzing the application cases of paper-cut design,grasping the main points of design application,this paper tries to explore a new way for the innovative development of Xiaoyi traditional paper-cut,hoping to change the single impression of the masses on traditional paper-cut and help the spread and development of traditional culture.
