Coordination polymer as a new type of functional materials with rich topology structure and the accumulation of diverse ways,the adsorption material,molecular recognition,magnetic materials and optical materials showed a broad application prospect,become the research focus in the material chemistry and coordination chemistry.In this paper,four new nitrogen-containing ligands were selected namely:2-?2,6-di-fluorophenyl?-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline?L1?,2-?2-chloro-6-fluorophenyl?-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthrolin-e?L6?,2-?4-fluorophenyl?-1H-imidazo[4,5-f]-[1,10]phena-nthroline?L2?and 1-?1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]-phenanthrolin-2-yl?naphthalen-2-ol as main ligands?H2L5?and use different acids:2-?carboxymeth-oxy?benzoicacid?H2L?,4-?carb-ox-ymethoxy?benzoicacid?H2L3?,3-?carboxymethoxy?-2-na-phthoic acid?H2L4?and?3-?4-?carboxymethoxy?phenyl?acrylic acid as auxiliary ligands and use Cd?II?/Fe?II?/Cu?II?/Zn?II?/Ni?II?as metal ions,synthesis of six coordination polymers by hydrothermal method which have been determined by the X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.[Cd?L??L1?H2O]n·nH2O?1?[Fe2?L?2?L6?2·H2O?]2n·nH2O?2?[Cu?L2??L3?]n?3?[Zn?L4??H2O?]n?4?[Cd?H2L5??L5??H2O?]n?5?[Ni?L1?3?H2O?4]n?6?In?1?and?3?,the oxgacetic acids anions link neighboring metal ions in a bis-chelating mode,yielding a 1D chain structure.N-donor ligands are stacked with those of an adjacent chain through?-?interactions and C–H···?interactions,yielding a 2D layer structure.In?2?,complexes are tacked with adjacent complexes through two different?-?interactions to form a 2D layer structure.In?4?,the oxgacetic acids anions link neighboring Zn?II?ions in?2-?1:?1-bridging modes to form a 2D layer structure.In?5?,the N-donor ligands anions link neighboring Cd?II?ions,yielding a 1D chain structure.N-donor ligands are stacked with those of an adjacent chain through?-?interactions,yielding a 2D layer structure.In addition,these complexes have been determined by elemental analysis,X-ray powder diffraction patterns,IR spectra,fluorescence spectroscopy characters and properties.
