The driving range of electric vehicles(EVs)has gradually expanded from city roads to expressways.In order to meet the growing needs of EV users for long-distance travel,State Grid Corporation has built expressway fast charging stations along expressway main roads in recent years.Even the basic charging facilities on the expressway are nearing completion,but the utilization rate of the facilities is still low.Due to the particularity of the expressway,the reliability of EV charging should be high.In the event of a fast charging station failure or an EV that is too low to reach a fast charging station,the vehicle will be stranded and a serious traffic accident may occur.In order to reduce the harm caused by such situations,relevant departments should provide emergency rescue for EVs to supplement the required power and resume the journey,which could avoid vehicle congestion and traffic accidents effectively.Based on the above background,this paper studies the emergency charging and rescue scheme from practical application point of view aims to meet the charging demand of EVs in the expressway.Firstly,the factors cause the EVs cannot be charged was analyzed.The Fishbone Diagram and Analytic Hierarchy Processthe(AHP)were used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the relevant factors affecting the charging of EVs on expressways,and the factors were sorted according to their weights.Take the greater weight factors,which has bigger impact on EV charging,as the main research object in the emergency rescue scheme for expressway Evs.These factors are targeted to prevent or remedy,to avoid greater impact and improve the reliability of electric vehicle charging.Secondly,the emergency charging rescue equipment,scope and process were explored,and a emergency rescue scheme was given.According to the charging requirements in different situations,select the suitable charging equipment for emergency rescue;The organization structure of the expressway emergency charging and rescue system was proposed,and the rescue task was divided into four parts:the acquisition of emergency events,the generation of emergency rescue scheme,the dispatching of rescue operations and the tracking feedback.The functions of each part were clarified and the workflow of the emergency rescue system was determined.Finally,the placing and sizing model of the emergency charging and rescue station was established.Factors such as fast charging station failure rate,traffic flow,electricity price,and construction cost are considered comprehensively.The model aims at the minimum annual socialization cost,which contains the station building cost,emergency rescue cost and EV users waiting cost.The number and location of rescue stations and the number of rescue vehicles in the station are determined to ensure reliable charging of EVs.The expressway electric vehicle emergency rescue plan proposed in this paper can greatly promote the development and use of electric vehicles in the future.In addition,the efficient rescue of electric vehicles can effectively prevent the safety hazards caused by vehicle detention.In the future,emergency rescue has a long way to go,which will become a vital part of the development of electric vehicles.
