The serious occurrence of sharp eyespot and rice bakanae has become one of the important obstacles to the bumper harvest of wheat and rice.Merely relying on agricultural,physical and biological control methods,is cumbersome,time-consuming and laborious,which is difficult to obtain satisfying control effects,and the use of chemical fungicides for seed treatment can not only effectively control the occurrence of diseases fundamentally,but also facilitate the healthy growth of the germchits.The fludioxonil is a high-efficiency and broad-spectrum fungicide,which has excellent control effect on seed transmission and soil-borne diseases caused by ascomycetes,basidiomycetes,and deuteromycetes,and is not easy to bring cross resistance with other fungicides.At present,fludioxonil and its compound agents are mainly processed into flowable concentrates for seed coating(FSC).However,these formulations have a complicated composition,which need high biosafety requirements,and the quality of existing products is not satisfactory.In this study,the FSC of fludioxonil and metalaxyl-M/fluroxylin were developed,which is aimed at the main diseases of wheat and rice.The optimized formula was obtained by screening dispersant using flow point method,and the physicochemical properties,microbicide efficacy and seed safety were measured.This study not only provides an effective way for the prevention and control of diseases,but also provides some ideas for the screening of FSC formulations.The dispersant was screened by the flow point method,and the 2.5%fluroxylin FSC formulation was determined:2.5%fludioxonil,5%dispersant D-1003,3%wetting agent SW,0.2%thickener(xanthan gum),4%antifreeze(ethylene glycol),5%filmogen 666,3%alert agent RED2002-5,0.5%preservative(isothiazolinones),deionized water to 100%.The physicochemical properties of the better formula complied with relevant standards of FSC,which was used for wheat seed coating,which could effectively control wheat sharp eyespot,and was safe for wheat seeds.On the basis of screening and obtaining monomer dispersant,and the 6.25%metalaxyl-M/fluroxylin FSC formulation was determined:3.75%metalaxyl-M,2.5%flavonoid,2%dispersant D-425,3%SP-SC3266,3%SP-SC3,0.2%thickener(xanthan gum),4%antifreeze(ethylene glycol),5%filmogen 661,3%alert agent RED2002-5,0.5%preservative(isothiazolinones),deionized water to 100%.The physicochemical properties of the better formula complied with relevant standards of FSC,which was used for wheat seed coating,which could effectively control wheat sharp eyespot,and was safe for rice seeds.
