The properties of different ink,such as viscosity and lubricate,are different.There are differences in the material and machining precision of pen point produced by different manufacturers.In order to ensure the writing performance of the neutral pen,a kind of ink can only match the specific pen point.At present,the high quality ink in China mainly depends on imports,and the structure of the pen point is copied abroad.There is no theoretical basis for the matching of gel ink and pen point and the matching problem is a key technical problem faced by the pen making industry in China.In order to solve this problem,this paper makes a theoretical study on the matching of black gel ink The Black 33 s in Korea and 670/0.5 pen point.Based on the experimental results,a simulation model of ink and pen point matching is established.The numerical simulation is carried out,and the results are applied to the optimization of the structural parameters of the 670/0.5 pen point.Finally,the main factors affecting the writing performance of neutral pen are tested.Firstly,the rheological properties of ink are measured by experiments.Based on the rheological theory and rheological model,the mathematical model of ink flow is built.Secondly,the simulation model of ink and pen point matching is established by considering the factors such as influence of ink rheological characteristics,the structure of the pen point,the thickness of the ink layer on the surface of the ball,the depth of the ball pressed into the paper surface and the rotation speed of the ball.The simulation of the ink flow rate is carried out by finite element software.The accuracy of the simulation model and the simulation results is verified through experimental research of the effect of paper and processing errors on the amount of ink flow rate.Then,the relationship between the structure parameters of the pen point and the amount of ink flow rate is studied,and the influence of each parameter on the amount of ink flow rate is obtained by the control variable method according to the simulation model.It is found that the diameter of the pen mouth and the depth of the ball are the most important factors affecting the ink flow rate.Finally,the structure parameters of the pen point are optimized according to the influence of the structure parameters on the flow rate of the ink.The optimization results are very close to the measured size of the imported 670/0.5 pen point.The four writing performance tests are carried out on the ink flow rate of the 670/0.5 pen point and the changing rate of ink flow rate,the writing lubricate,the drop ink and the initial writing performance.The results show that the writing performance is good.In a word,this paper reveals the inherent mechanism through establishment of simulation model and its influence factors on matching between ink and pen point.It provides a theoretical basis for the pen manufacturers to solve the matching problem between ink and pen point. |
