Self lubricating rod ends joint bearing with its unique advantages is widely used in aerospace and military field,pressing technology of traditional bearings,process instability prone to overvoltage or undervoltage defects,make rod ends joint bearing adaptation uneven rod ends joint bearing molding process can effectively avoid the defects with the pressure receiving process,improve the reliability of rod ends joint bearing.Nylon 66 is widely used in automotive,mechanical industry,electronic and electrical appliances,precision instruments and other fields.It has excellent wear resistance,self lubrication and good mechanical properties.It is a commonly used injection molding material.But the performance of pure nylon 66 has not been able to meet the increasingly harsh working conditions,so it is necessary to study its modification.In this paper,nylon 66 modified by carbon fiber and PTFE is used to evaluate its tribological properties under different working conditions and post-processing technology,The forming process of injection rod ends joint bearing is explored.The experimental results are as follows.The change of friction coefficient and wear rate of nylon composite material when the sliding frequency is 1.0Hz-3.0Hz and the load was 50N-200 N are studied by CETR friction and wear tester.The friction coefficient and wear rate of nylon and its composites were studied by CSM friction and wear test machine when the ambient humidity was 20%HRC-80%HRC and the temperature was at normal atmospheric temperature to 180℃,and the effect of moisture treatment on the friction coefficient and wear rate of 10%PTFE nylon composite was investigated,and the effect of Annealing on the friction coefficient and wear rate of pure PA66 and 15%PTFE nylon composite was investigated.The key forming parameters of injection molded nylon based joint bearing were explored by vertical injection molding machine,and the experimental research on clearance adjustment of joint bearing was carried out.The working condition has an obvious influence on the friction coefficient and wear rate of the composite.The results showed that under different working conditions,the friction coefficient and wear rate of the modified nylon composites were significantly reduced,and the tribological properties of the composites were reduced by moisture treatment.The tribological properties of the composites were improved by annealing treatment.The work has laid an experimental foundation for the research and development of self lubricating injection bearing.
