| Phthalic acid ester(PAEs)is a common pollutant in wastewater,it belong to the category of Environmental endocrine disruptors which is prone to accumulate,and widespread in the wastewater treatment system.PAEs is a refractory organic matter which could long-term accumulated in the reactor and be difficult to degradation in the tradition wastewater treatment technology.In this research,SBR,Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process,was used to treat the manually simulated wastewater containing ammonia nitrogen.And the interference of SBR operation under the condition of PAEs was investigated.The effects of different concentrations of PAEs on the efficiency of wastewater treatment system were studied.The microbial community in activated sludge was determined by polymerase chain reaction denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(PCR-DGGE)technique.The experimental result shows that:(1)It is found that,with the increasing concentration of PEAs,the Microbiological Flora living in the activated sludge of the SBR reactor are able to take PAEs as the sole carbon source finally.(2)By using the PAEs domesticated activated sludge,it was found that the change of the concentration of PAEs have obvious influence on activated sludge properties in SBR reactor,the concentration of MLSS was increasing firstly,then decreasing and maintaining at 2000mg/L eventually.(3)The biodegradation of PAEs was analyzed.It was found that,with the changing of the concentration of the PAEs,efficiency of the COD removal was increasing firstly,then decreasing and maintain at a certain level finally.It was also showed that the efficiency of ammonia nitrogen removal was increasing,but of the NO3--N and NO2--N decreasing with the increase of the concentration of PAEs.And the concentration of NO3--N and NO2--N were accumulated in the SBR reactor,the higher concentration was 60mg/L respectively.(4)The change of the microbial community and diversity in activated sludge were investigated using PCR-DGGE.It was showed that DGGE analysis map was different in biodegradable period with the change of the concentration of PAEs.It was indicated that some microbial community could not apply the high concentration of PAEs and it would be decreased finally in the activated sludge system.And with the deepening of domestication,some new microbial communities,which have strong degradation ability and environment adaptability,were emerged. |
