Synthesis And Nematicidal Activity Of 3-azabicyclo[3.2.1] Octyloxyaryl Thiazole/thiadiazole Compounds

Based on the preliminary work of our group,and using MDL-72222,a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist with nematicidal activity as the leading compound,sixty-one novel 3-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octyloxyaryl thiazole/thiadiazole compounds were designed and synthesized by changing the configuration of bridged ring and introducing the bioactive group thiadiazole or thiazole into the leading structure.All of the compounds were characterized by NMR and HRMS(EI).Forty-two compounds have been evaluated for the bioactivity and some compounds showed certain nematicidal activities against root-knot nematode and pine wood nematodes.
