A Study On Stainless Steel Casting Quality Improvement In NW Company

As the global economy is gradually warming up,the development at home and abroad has further accelerated and brought more opportunities for enterprises.However,the customers have put forward higher requirements for product quality,which has intensified the market competition.Effective process quality control and improvement is conducive to improving the product quality,which not only can satisfy the customers’product quality requirements,but also can enhance the product market competitiveness.First of all,the paper studied and organized related theories of quality management,summarized and selected relevant methodologies suitable for this research,used data statistics and Plato tools to classify and level the internal and external quality defects of NW Company and specify the direction of quality improvement.Next,causal analysis and causal matrix analysis were used to analyze the causes of quality defects,and relevant hypothesis testing tools were combined to determine the root causes,thereby formulating a targeted improvement plan and organizing its implementation.Meanwhile,to ensure the normal implementation of the quality improvement plan and achieve effective results,NW Company further improved its quality organizational structure and the quality performance appraisal of front-line staff and inspectors.Finally,the quality improvement effect was evaluated and summarized.The correlation analysis showed that the key external quality defects are mainly caused by the key internal quality defects.Therefore,this research focused on the improvement of internal quality defects,including internal sand inclusion,internal gas porosity and internal shrinkage.The improvement plan was formulated and implemented after analyzing the root causes,and the improvement effect was also demonstrated from the perspective of quality level,customer satisfaction and financial benefits.This research aims to directly improve the quality management level of NW Company and the research ideas and analysis methods used in the quality improvement research can also provide some enlightenment to other related enterprises.
