Research On The Impact Of Low-carbon Economy On China's Manufacturing Trade Competitiveness

Economic development and climate environment problem have become the focus of world debate,leading to all sorts of natural disasters,and climate warming has the serious influence to human survival,how to coordinate the common development of the economic development and the control of environmental pollution has become the new mainstream.Developing the low-carbon economy can effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution.Therefore,low-carbon economy has become the inevitable choice of the world economic development.China is the world's biggest emitter of carbon dioxide,the development of low carbon economy will have a great influence on our country's level of economic development,and manufacturing as the main industry of the national economy that is the most important part of China's foreign trade development.For a long time,the manufacturing industry of our country has the characteristics of "high energy consumption,high pollution and low efficiency" the development of low carbon economy will have a big impact on China's manufacturing trade competitiveness.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,first introduces the selected topic background and research significance of this paper,and then analyzes the overseas and domestic research status that the paper involved,and elaborated the research idea and method,the possible innovation points and deficiencies.The second part is the study of the theory of the low carbon economy and the trade competitiveness,first of all,the connotation of low-carbon economy and the concept of trade competitiveness is defined,and then elaborates the basic theory of low carbon economy and the trade competitiveness,finally analyzes the mechanism of low carbon economy's influence on the trade competitiveness.The third part is the analysis of the low carbon economy development and the current situation of manufacturing trade competitiveness,first of all,the paper analyzed the current situation of the low carbon economy development of our country,and then takes advantage of the international market share,trade competitiveness index and revealed comparative advantage index to analyze the current situation of trade competitiveness of manufacturing industry.The fourth part is the empirical analysis of the impact of low carbon economy on China's manufacturing trade competitiveness.Using the panel data model,and carbon dioxide emissions intensity as substitution variables of low carbon economy development level,trade competitiveness index as measure of manufacturing trade competitiveness,adding the technological innovation,foreign participation,foreign participation and carbon dioxide emissions intensity of cross terms,the strength of material capital,human capital as control variables,analyzes the low carbon economy's influence on the overall manufacturing and manufacturing divisions trade competitiveness.The fifth part is the conclusion and the suggestion,drawing the conclusion according to the paper and putting forward the corresponding countermeasure suggestions.In this paper,through theoretical and empirical studies mainly gets the following conclusions: Firstly,The development of low carbon economy and manufacturing trade competitiveness have the "U" shaped relationship,in the short term,low carbon economy is not conducive to the development of manufacturing industry trade competitiveness level of ascension,but in the long term,the development of low carbon economy will have a promoting effect on manufacturing trade competitiveness of ascension,and the development of low carbon economy makes different influences on different industry trade competitiveness;Secondly,technological innovation is conducive to the improvement of trade competitiveness in the overall and low-carbon industries of manufacturing industry,but it also has a restraining effect on the promotion of trade competitiveness of the high carbon industry;Thirdly,the development of China's manufacturing industry is in line with the "pollution haven hypothesis",the foreign participation contributes to the overall manufacturing and high carbon industry trade competitiveness,but not conducive to the ascent of the low carbon industry trade competitiveness;The last,the strength of material capital is not the main factor affecting the competitiveness of China's manufacturing trade,and human capital has a significant effect on the promotion of trade competitiveness of China's low-carbon industry.
