| Artistic stylization generation is a kind of techniques that could automatically transform images into art-style images,which not only has a very broad demand and market application,but also is of great significance to the heritage and protection of traditional art.In this thesis,based on the popularization and inheritance of the new embroidery-Random-needle Embroidery,we present a coarse-to-fine procedural generation method according to its artistic style and the characteristics of creation scale variability,including the style modeling and representation,the generation and overlay of the stitches,stitch layout and optimization.The main achievements of the paper are as follows(1)Presenting and implementing a procedural style modeling and representation method for Random-needle Embroidery.Firstly,the hierarchical structure is used to represent the coarse-to-fine process;then parameterized methods is used to define the stitch and the composition of multiple stitches;finally,the corresponding features of the input digit image are extracted as its content to guide the subsequent stitch generation and layout(2)Presenting and implementing a stitch generation and overlay method based on Voronoi Diagram for Random-needle Embroidery.The method simulates the coarse-to-fine embroidery process,which includes the generation of single layer stitches and the overlap of stitches from different layers.Firstly,divides the region into sub-regions with different orientations and generate appropriate stitch based on the content of the sub-regions to generate the single layer stitches,and the corresponding evaluation indexes are to designed evaluate the embroidery surface so as to update the parameters to renew the upper layer stitches(3)Presenting and implementing a multi-layer stitches layout and optimization method for user interaction.In order to generate better artistic effects from the combination of stitches between different layers,the method provides users with several high-level layout parameters,and the user can easily adjust the layout style by adjusting the parameters.Firstly,a stitch neighborhood graph is built for each region based on the spatial relationship,and the layout of the multi-layer stitches is optimized with the similarity of the content of the digit image and the consistency of the adjacent stitches.Experiments show that our method can generate a better artistic style for users. |
