During recent decades,cancer has become one major cause of killing people.According to the research,the incidence rate and mortality of cancer have increased rapidly in China.It threats the public health and safety badly.As a result,it is very important to research about diagnosis and therapy of cancer.CD44 is a kind of transmembrane glycoprotein which is abundantly expressed in lung cancer cells.CD44 is associated with the pathologic activities of cancer cells and is the principal receptor of hyaluronic acid.Nowadays,graphite-like 2D materials have attracted a lot of interests in biomedicine due to their strong mechanical strength,high surface area,remarkable biocompatibility,low toxicity,ease of functionalization and unparalleled thermal conductivity.Graphite-like carbon nitride is one of them.The main contents of this article are summarized as follows:1.Application of graphite-like carbon nitride nanosheets in drug delivery for lung cancerGraphite-like carbon nitride nanosheets have more advantages than bulk graphite-like carbon nitride.It is water-soluble due to the carboxyl and amino group after acid treat.After conjugation with hyaluronic acid,the nanosheets loads DOX to target lung cancer cells,and it can release DOX at pH 5.0.Use MTT method to test the toxicity of the materials,and utilize confocal laser scanning microscopy to observe the cellular uptake and the release of DOX.2.Application of graphite-like carbon nitride conmposite in drug delivery for lung cancerAfter superparamagnetic iron oxide modified with PAA conjugated to graphite-like carbon nitride nanosheets,hyaluronic acid is conjugated to it as well.Then the composite loads DOX.We can know that PAA can increase the solubility in water while the iron oxide can lead to magnetic target.Meanwhile,it has the potential of thermal therapy and MRI applications?The drug delivery system will release DOX at acid conditions.Use MTT method to test the toxicity of the materials,and utilize CLSM to observe the cellular uptake and the release of DOX.
