To improve the efficiency of pumping system is an important means of oil field energy saving.However,there are many factors influencing the efficiency of the system.The optimization of efficiency from the perspective of single well is often costly and timeconsuming and laborious,and it is difficult to adapt to the modern management needs of oilfields for large-scale pumping units.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the relationship between the influencing factors and the system efficiency from the perspective of the block as a whole,and build an index system to evaluate the efficiency of the pumping unit system and improve the operation and management efficiency of the oilfield.In this paper,from the block point of view,for the pumping unit system efficiency of the following study:(1)Analyze the energy loss of the oil extraction process of the pumping unit,and summarize the main factors influencing the efficiency of the pumping well system in the block range.(2)Applying the gray system theory to the oil extraction system of the pumping unit,studying the degree of correlation between the influencing factors and the system efficiency,analyzing the applicability of all kinds of gray relational algorithms in efficiency analysis,and finally building the gray similarity relation algorithm Gray Relational Analysis Model of Influencing Factors of System Efficiency.(3)The efficiency evaluation system of the pumping system based on the block is constructed.The macro control chart reflecting the efficiency distribution of the block system is established with reference to the industry standard,theory and experimental study.The evaluation index system of the influencing factors in the operation of the block wells is developed.Finally,the energy saving potential of the influencing factors in the block wells is evaluated from the aspects of the degree of association and the running condition.(4)In the evaluation of the block,the efficiency distribution of the well group is obtained through the "System Efficiency Macroscopic Control Chart",and then the efficiency problem exists in the well group through the "Operational Condition Evaluation",and finally through the "Energy Saving Potential Evaluation " to assess the energy savings potential of the well group in the efficiency of the problem,to distinguish the primary and secondary relationships of efficiency problems.Which determines the adjustment priority and rectification direction of each well in the well group.(5)Compile the efficiency analysis and evaluation program of the pumping system of whole block pumping well.An example is given to analyze the efficiency of the block,and the main efficiency problems and corrective schemes of the block are clarified.According to the analysis results,after the implementation of relevant improvement measures,10 inefficient wells average daily production increased 2.8m3,the average system efficiency increased by 2.97 percentage points.This paper provides a theoretical method to evaluate the efficiency of pumping system in the oilfield from the block level.The feasibility of the method is verified by the development of the corresponding calculation program to support the practical application in the oilfield production.
