Design Of A New Type Static Fluid Bed

The new type static fluid bed was integrated in the base of conical part of the spray dryer.The spraying dryer,static fluid bed and vibro-fluidizer constitute a three-stage spray drying system.Spray drying is applied in food,medicine and chemical industry and so on.But,as we all know,the operation of spray dryer need a great quantity of energy.For reducing the energy consumption and enhancing agglomeration,we design a new type of static fluid bed applied in milk spray drying system.The traditional spray drying system consists of one-stage drying and two-stage drying.Its disadvantages are higher energy consumption and lower drying efficiency.Compared with one-stage dryer,the three-stage dryer save energy 29.2%.On one hand,the new design of the static fluid bed has reduced the outlet temperature and increased the drying efficiency,on another hand,it also protected the sensitive materials.Agglomeration tube was designed on the upside of the static fluid bed.The design of agglomeration tube not only updated and enhanced the agglomeration function,but also improved the wettability,sinkability,solubility and dispersity of milk powder.The study contain three parts.First of all,the design of static fluid bed.Second,the design of agglomeration system.Third,the design of air system.The design parameter:evaporation capacity was 3000 kg/h;the external diameter of the static fluid bed was 3.14 m,the internal diameter was 3.00 m,the sieve was located at the middle of the static fluid bed,0.5 m far from the top of the static fluid bed.The horizontal angle of the cover plate on the bottom of the static fluid bed was 10°.The horizontal angle of the agglomeration tube was 15°.The inlet air temperature was 110?,the amount of air entered the static fluid bed was 1.05×10~4m~3/h.The outlet air temperature was 70?,the amount of the exhaust air was 1.365×10~4m~3/h.The amount of the heat vapour was 625 kg/h.Through commissioning,milk powder equipments worked well.
