The Research On The Key Technologies Of Stamping Process Of Automobile Whole Side Panel

Stamping is the main method of forming automotive body panels.The automobile side panel is one of the most important parts for its large size,high precision requirements and complex shape contour.Defects like cracking,wrinkling and springback easily appear in the forming process of these parts.Eliminating these defects and obtaining qualified side panel parts are the emphasis of this paper.In reference to the school-enterprise cooperation project "Research on the Key Technology of Automobile Side Panel Die Development,by Hunan University and SSDT,taking the whole side panel die of a car as a project of study,carrying out the research on the basis of existing stamping process,the main work is as follows:(1)Experiment and study of the material of DC560,which is used in the whole side stamping of a car,do the uniaxial tensile test by using universal materials testing machine to obtain the relevant material parameters.(2)Construct parts stamping process Die Layout diagram on the basis of the existing forming process,analyse the whole process by using Pamstamp stamping simulation software and calculate the springback to obtain the stamping simulation results.By combining the real production process with simulation results,modificate and optimize the process by analyzing the forming defects to obtain the best parts stamping process.(3)In view of the work about the side panels drawing die repair,applying the white light scanning technology to get the mold surface point cloud.Using Geomagic Qualify software to get the draw punch grinding capacity and fillet radius of drawbeads.Finally,by virtually closing the die,we get gap distribution diagram of drawing die,and compare it with the thickness of the parts in the simulation results.The achievements of the resrarch of the key technologies about automobile side panels stamping will help to deal with practical problem,provide theoretical basis for the engineering and technical personnel and guide the die company for the die manufacturing,commissioning and stamping process optimization.
