With the increasingly serious environmental problems,stringent standards were made in the sulfur content of gasoline.According to the regulation of the EU countries,sulfur content in fuel oil must be less than10?g/g since 2010.Sulfur content of fuel oil in fuel cells must be less than 0.1?g/g.Although conventional hydrodesulfurization can effectively remove the inorganic sulfur compounds,but it is difficult to remove thiopheneanditsderivatives.Amongnon-hydrodesulfurization technology,the adsorption desulfurization has better selectivity,lower operating costs,milder conditions.Therefore,comparing to other the adsorption desulfurization,?complexation adsorption desulfurization with more selectivity and easier desorption regeneration has became the most promising desulfurization technology.Aerogel is a nano-porous material made of nanoscale particles.Due to its unique physical and chemical properties,aerogel with?complexation adsorbent have good adsorption performance on adsorption the thiophenic sulfur compounds.Thiophene and benzothiophene of model gasoline were adsorbed by SiO2-CoO,SiO2-ZnO aerogels on static adsorption and dynamic adsorption experiments which were prepared by sol-gel and atmosphereic pressure drying method and characterized by XRD,XRF,BET,SEM.The results showed that adsorptions of SiO2-CoO,SiO2-ZnO aerogels belong to the Langmuir isotherm model and with the increase of Co and Zn content,the adsorption capacity of thiophene and benzothiophene increases.The maximum breakthrough adsorption capacity of SiO2-CoO-10 on the thiophene and benzothiophene is 1.094mg/g,1.368mg/g which is greater than the SiO2-ZnO-10.The presence of benzene and cyclohexene can greatly reduce the the desulfurization performance of SiO2-CoO aerogel.The regenerated adsorption capacity by solvent washing regeneration can be restored to the original 70%.SiO2-Ag2O aerogels were preliminary prepared to adsorb thiophene and benzothiophene of model gasoline by dynamic adsorption experiments,and were characterized by XRD,XRF,BET,SEM.The results showed that SiO2-Ag2O aerogels have good adsorption properties.The maximum breakthrough adsorption capacity of SiO2-Ag2O-10 on the thiophene and benzothiophene is 25.338mg/g,23.283mg/g.The presence of benzene and cyclohexene with high concentration will greatly reduce the desulfurization performance of SiO2-Ag2O aerogels.but low concentration has little effect.The regenerative adsorption capacity by solvent washing can only be restored to the original 50%.
