Many scientists and governments have acknowledged greenhouse gas emissions have been and will continue to bring disaster to humanity and earth in recent years,while the emissions of greenhouse gases has been written to International of Protocol.For one thing,the high cost of emissions can have more influence on the economy,which will be a huge economic burden especially for developing countries;for another,the effect of the emission reduction also has a lot of uncertainty.Thus,it is one of hot spots on the use of carbon dioxide conversion and immobilized in the research and development area.The cycloaddition reaction using carbon dioxide and epoxides to make preparation of cyclic carbonate is one of successful examples about carbon dioxide utilization.The condition is solvent-free,anhydrous,non-oxygen through an atomic economic reaction in order to get a high boiling point polar organic product cyclic carbonate,which is more ideal process of carbon sequestration.Cyclic carbonate has widely application in the synthesis of medicine and fine chemical intermediates,such as polycarbonate,phenolic resin,plastic foaming agent,textile spinning fluid,Lithium battery electrolyte,antifreeze additives,and so on.The paper focuses on the addition reaction using carbon dioxide and epoxides as starting material to make preparation of cyclic carbonate.In paper,the catalyst activation patterns have been examined by sifting through a series of acid-functionalized ionic liquids catalyst,and conversion of raw materials,and the change of product yield and selectivity have been detailed after the change of different reaction conditions.1.It is founded that catalytic reaction activity keeps consistent when acidity of the catalysts reach certain indicators,thus a new type system of ionic liquid composite catalyst has been established.And then,cyclic carbonate has been prepared with high conversion rate and selectivity in the absence of solvent and anaerobic conditions.The catalyst system with the terminal epoxy compounds has good applicability for ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate with the highest conversion rate,more than 99%.The catalyst and product can be easily separated only through reduced pressure distillation,catalyst can be conveniently reused for several times,and products meet the national first class standard after purification.2.The cycloaddition reaction of ethylene oxide preparing ethylene/propylene carbonate was in detail investigated,including reaction temperature,pressure,feedstock mode,separation conditions and recyclability of catalysts.Craft process has been meticulously optimized and better improved by the test in laboratory research and carried out step by step one liter kettle type reaction and tube amplifier validation test;the data obtained lay a scientific foundation for industrialized amplification experiments.
