Carbon dioxide (CO2) is considered to be the main component of the greenhouse gases, but it has the advantages of reproducible, cheap, non-toxic, abundant.The synthesis of five-membered cyclic carbonates is the typical route for efficiently utilizing CO2 which is of growing interest. Ionic liquid has become the focus of the catalyze cloaddition reaction, as a new kind of reaction medium and catalytic materials. The ionic liquid is easy to design, it also has high yield and unique properties. The ionic liquid is used in the field of energy saving and environment-friendly features widely. In the process of catalytic synthesis of cyclic carbonate,it exists low catalyst activity, the harsh reaction conditions and other key issues.To solve these problems, this paper carried out the ionic liquid in the process of catalytic synthesis of cyclic carbonate CO2 deep going research.This paper first developed a kind of contain an amino faculties of imidazole ionic liquids homogeneous catalyst:1-butyl-3-aminopropyl imidazole bromide ([NH2 pbim]Br), 1-butyl-3-aminopropyl imidazole perrhenate ([NH2pbim][ReO4]),1-methyl-3-aminopropylimidazole bromide ([NH2pmim]Br), 1-methyl-3-aminopropylimidazol-e perrhenate ([NH2pmim][ReO4]), 1-vinyl-3-aminopropylimidazole bromide([NH2p-vim]Br), 1-vinyl-3-aminopropylimidazole perrhenate([NH2pvim][ReO4]), 1-vinyl-3-aminoethylimidazole bromide([NH2evim]Br), 1-vinyl-3-aminoethylimidazole perrhe-nate([NH2evim][ReO4]). These types of ionic liquids had their structure characterized and analysized by IR,1HNMR and MS. It was found that these types of ionic liquids was the best catalyst of all the ionic liquids(reaction condition:140℃,1.0MPa), nearly 99.1% yield of chloropropylene carbonate and 99% selectivity was obtained within 1h without any addition of co-catalysts.It is founded that after reusing for five times, the catalyst still maintains a high activity.This paper aslo developed a kind of contain two amino faculties of imidazole ionic liquids homogeneous catalyst:1,3double aminoethy limidazole bromide ([2NH2eim]Br),1,3 double aminoethy limidazole perrhenate ([2NH2eim][ReO4]),1,3 double aminopropyl limidazole bromide ([2NH2pim]Br),1,3 double aminopropyl limidazole perrhenate ([2NH2pim][ReO4]). These types of ionic liquids had their structure characterized and analysized by IR,1HNMR and MS. It was found that these types of ionic liquids was the best catalyst of all the ionic liquids (reaction condition:100℃, 1.0MPa), nearly 99.5% yield of chloropropylene carbonate and 99% selectivity was obtained within 2h without any addition of co-catalysts. It is founded that after reusing for five times, the catalyst still maintains a high activity.In this paper, synthesis of a series of catalysts has high yield, strong activity without co-catalyst and other solvents, mild reaction condition, high stability is easy to recycle and other advantages, and applied to industrial production.
