Study On Symbolic Representation Of Hui Ethnic Dress Along The Northwest Silk Road

National costumes have become the external symbol of a nation,the superficial characteristics of material culture and spiritual culture of each nation,containing the aesthetic taste,moral and ethical,religious emotions,life habits,as well as national character and artistic culture.The opening of the Silk Road on land has promoted the exchange and interaction between Eastern and Western cultures.The opening of the land Silk Road promoted the exchange and interaction between East and West cultures.The Northwest Hui ethnic was located along the Silk Road,so its costume culture was influenced by many cultures.With the opening of the Silk Road on land,and through the development and changes of clothing symbols of Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the clothing of the Northwest Hui nationality became an important part of Chinese nation.It not only retaining the integral cultural characteristics of the Chinese costume culture,but also retaining the regional characteristics.Taking the Hui costume culture along the "Silk Road" in Northwest China as the main research object,this paper makes a systematic historical analysis on the development of the clothing code of the Northwest Hui nationality.This paper discusses and studies the dress representation of Hui nationality in Northwest China by means of semiotics and costume semiotics,including the daily dress,wedding dress,funeral dress and holiday dress,and interprets the symbol of the dress.This paper makes a deep interpretation of the headdress,top,lower and foot clothing of the Northwest Hui nationality from the perspective of semiotics.Studying the aesthetic connotation of the dress of the Northwest Hui nationality.
