Dry reforming utilizes CH4 and CO2 to produce the syngas and it consumes two kinds of greenhouse gases,which is environmentally begnin.Theoretically,the stoichiometric dry reforming reaction is a chemical reaction which happens in the thermodynamic carbon deposition area,the key issue of dry reforming is the contral of carbon deposition.So the paper focuses on the development of Ni-based catalysts with good resistance for carbon deposition.First of all,according to the study,it is found that supports,the amount of active components,calcination temperature,additives have a great influence on the catalytic activity and the ability of inhibiting carbon deposition.Finally,the catalyst,using YX1602 as support,Ni loading of 1.5 wt%,E and F as promoters,has excellent ability of inhibiting carbon deposition and has good industrial application prospects.According to thermodynamic simulation,it is found that in low CO2/CH4 ratio condition,to avoid the formation of carbon deposition,it needs a high reaction temperature.With the increase of CO2/CH4 ratio,carbon deposition,can be avoided at relative low temperature.With the increase of pressure,carbon deposition is much easier to form.The feed temperature of the dry reforming reactor is carried out under the condition of 550°C to 650°C.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a catalyst which can suppress carbon deposition kinetically to avoid carbon deposition under the feed temperature.Based on the catalyst with excellent ability of inhibiting carbon deposition.H2/CO ratio in the syngas which is produced by dry reforming at high temperature is about 1,it can be used for carbonylation and hydroformylation.If water is added into the raw material of dry reforming,H2/CO ratio in the syngas which is produced can be adjusted to 2,it can meet the production of methanol and ethylene glycol.Therefore,it has very good application prospect by using dry reforming technology to produce the syngas which consists of different proportions of H2 and CO.Finally,based on the dry reforming catalyst characterization,the deposited carbon's formation,type and activity have been discussed.
