The leakage accident frequently occurs due to construction damage,corrosion and man-made stolen behavior.Shutdown measures,mainly depend on operator's experience,are taken after the accident to reduce the loss.To determine the contaminated area of the leakage diffusion is essential for providing guidance for the subsequent accident management.Hence,the research of product oil's leakage diffusion and accident shutdown optimization has its practical value.The optimal shutdown operation model has been established on the basis of pipeline hydraulic system analysis.The valves' opening degrees are the variables.As for the product oil's leakage diffusion in the soil,the paper has set up a the model on diffusion of micro-compressible leaked products by uniphase to discuss multiple factors' influence on the diffusion like the pipeline diameter and the position of leaking ostiole.Besides,the diffusion model is coupled with the leakage volume calculation.Using the experimental data,the practical process is simulated.Two-dimensional leakage diffusion model is solved by virtue of software Fluent to simulate the entire process in the given area.To demonstrate the findings given by the simulation,a set of experimental facilities is utilized.The study finds out that the upstream valve should be closed before the downstream one when the accident happens.In the initial stage,the distribution of the oil is shaped circularly and the oil mainly gathers in the neighborhood of the leaking ostiole.The diffusion area enlarges and some oil reaches the boundary on the ground.During the final stage,the distribution is like an ellipse.The contaminated area increases with the increment of leaking flow rate,diffusion coefficient and leaking ostiole's size and decreases of pipeline's diameter as well as diffusion resistance.The depth where the pipeline is located imposes little effect on the diffusion while the gravity works more.
