Study On The Features And Influence Factors Of Traffic Violations In Henan Province

Along with the significant progress of science and technology and the flourishment of Chinese economy,the time and money spent on economic activities grow more and more rapidly these years.As a result,the number of travelers and the transportation of goods have also been increasing.It follows that problems in traffic safety are also becoming more prominent.As a matter of fact,the injuries and deaths caused by violations of the traffic law in motor vehicles have become the primary factor that harms the safety of public transportation.The number of violations against the traffic law in one of the most populous Provinces in China,Henan,has been increasing year by year and has thus become a focus of social attention.With the help of Big Data,the traffic administrative department and the related professionals can more easily make the governance and enforcement of the traffic law more affective and thus help reduce the harm caused by the violations against it.By doing that,these professionals can better safeguard people’s life and property and protect the nation.It is noticeable that the road management in Henan Province is not yet developed well enough for the coordination of the traffic—the ideas as well as the methods and technology used on the management are relatively outdated.As a result,the current system cannot meet the needs of the rapid growth of the traffic demand due to the blossom of the society.Moreover,there are some ecternal factors that lead to the violations of the law such as the traffic participants’ lack of legal awareness and self-discipline,and the empirical mistakes they make.In this article,the author systematically combs the database on the violations of the traffic law from 2013 to 2016.With the help of knowledge in engineering,economics,management science,behavioral science and other related knowledge,the article makes use of induction,statistics,comparison and other methods to make a thorough study on the violation of traffic rules.In addition,the article uses 2 SLS for related research and test at the same time to make the following conclusion: investments on the traffic management is quite effective in reducing the violations against traffic laws;the road management department should reinforce the traffic safety by improving the traffic facilities and the traffic environment;the related department should enhance the supervision from its source,creating a multi-sectoral-coordination mechanism to punish the behaviors of violating traffic laws and thus minimizes the frequency of traffic violations;the road management department,with its developed management on the traffic violations,should build a long term coordination with the government in order to establish a sound and effective prevention and control mechanism.As a result,they can further improve their ability on traffic management,create a better traffic environment,and trigger favorable attitudes of the traffic participants.
