| Gear slicing is a new technology for machining gears with high precision and high efficiency.It has a strong versatility,which can machine various kinds of cylindrical gears.At present,research on the gear slicing principle has become increasingly mature,CNC gear slicing machine has also been successfully developed and put into use.A major breakthrough has been made in the design of slice cutter,the design method of the error-free slice cutter has been proposed.However,slice cutter manufacturing technology is not mature,seriously hindered the popularization and application of gear slicing technology.In order to realize the engineering application of slice cutter as soon as possible,this paper focuses on the grinding technology of slice cutter.Firstly,according to the design of the error-free slice cutter,the structure of slice cutter is analyzed,manufacturing process route of slice cutter is proposed correctly.Secondly,main sources of error have been sought from the manufacturing progress route of slice cutter.In order to achieve high precision and efficient manufacturing of slice cutter,a reasonable method of grinding cutter location path planning is proposed by analyzing the geometrical features of the rake face and the major flank face respectively.On this basis,the grinding cutter location path of the rake face and the major flank face are finally realized with the help of UG.Walter Helitronic Power CNC five-axis tool grinding machine is chosen as the appropriate machine,and the technology of post-processing is studied.According to the structure of machine,building post processing and getting the NC code.Then virtual machining can be finished with the help of VERICUT,the correctness of the cutter location path planning method and the technology of post-processing for Walter Helitronic Power can be verified.Finally,according to the parameters of workpiece in gear slicing,the slice cutter grinding experiments can be done to verify the grinding technology of the rake face and the major flank face.The grinding technology of the rake face and major flank face proposed in this paper can achieve the manufacturing of slice cutter with high precision and high efficiency.The slice cutter is processed by imported high-precision machine tools for the first time,it promotes the engineering application process of the slice cutter greatly. |
