The brake pawl mentioned in this paper is suitable for a domestic automatic transmission with independent intellectual property rights.Brake pawl is the key component of the automatic transmission mechanismThis article is based on the practice of enterprise production.The purpose is to systematically comb the brake pawl manufacturing process,improve production efficiency,reduce production costs,improve the quality of products,and to meet client request.The main works of this paper are as follows:to adopt advanced manufacturing technology in the manufacturing process of pawl,to design high productivity technological equipment,and to apply ISO/TS 16949 five tools to the production of the pawl.The advanced manufacturing technology applied in this paper involves precision forging technology,high efficiency and high precision machining technology for holes,intermittent turning cone hole technology and high speed hard milling technology,etc.With precision forging,the closed hot precision die forging process has been applied.In the process of cone hole turning,Taking the maximum production efficiency as the evaluation standard,by establishing objective function and constraint conditions,the optimization of cutting parameters in turning intermittent cone is realized.The economic comparison and analysis for grinding and high speed hard milling are carried out,the advantages of high speed hard milling are fully demonstrated.By using orthogonal experiment method,the parameters of heat treatment process are optimized,which solves the problem of heat treatment deformation of pawl.The application results of advanced manufacturing process were tested by reverse checking and vehicle abuse experiment.The high productivity equipment designed in this paper includes:High productivity milling fixture for flat surface milling,lathe fixture of turning intermittent taper taper bore and relative position detection function gauge.With milling fixture,the elastic clamping block is designed,which has the originality.In the design oflathe fixture and function gauge,the precise calculation of the size of the pin is carried out with the principle of dimension chain,It ensures the positioning accuracy of the workpiece and the detection precision of the functional gauge.ISO/TS 16949 five tools include:APQP?FMEA?SPC?PPAP and MSA.In this paper,the control plan?CP?,P-FMEA,the capability index(CPK)and the variation of the measurement system were illustrated in the form of examples.All the above research results were applied to the production practice,The production planning target of 100 thousand pieces per year has been realized.
