This thesis overseas a new Green Ultra-high Performance Concrete(GUHPC)mix design to develop and improve with the aim of reducing environmental and economic funds while aiming for better performance. The proposed mix uses Portland Cement,as a means to reduce the gross cement content. The optimized mix design features 20%of silica fume and 30%of slag,2.5%of steel fibres by the total volume, and very low water-to-binder ratio. The proposed mix is validated and characterized thurough a comprehensive experimental program. The proposed mix is validated and characterized through a comprehensive experimental program, which shows a result that at 90 days the proposed mix with high amount of fiber can achieve a compressive strength at least 220 MPa,and for flexural strength the proposed mix can achieve a flexural strength at least 65 MPa.Which also shows that concrete combined with stainless steel and PVA fiber has clearly more resistant... |
