Dodecyl phosphate monoester was synthesized by dodecyl alcohol and phosphoric acid,which were taken as the starting materials,and the raw products were purified.The physicochemical properties and application performance of monoesters were researched.The main contents were listed as following:1.Synthesis and characterization of dodecyl phosphate monoester?MAP?.Dodecyl phosphate monoester was synthesized by dodecyl alcohol and phosphoric acid.The effects of reaction time,temperature,pressure and the molar ratio of lauryl alcohol and phosphoric acid?n?ROH?/n?PA??on the content of monoester in the product were investigated.The results showed that while phosphoric acid was the phosphoryl reagent,the experiment was carried out at 100 oC for 7 h,and the molar ratio of lauryl alcohol to phosphoric acid at 1:1by reducing pressure,the content of alkyl phosphate monoester achieved 66 wt%with the selectivity of monoester was higher.The samples were characterized by FT-IR,31P NMR and ESI-MS.From the results,it could be claimed that the synthesized material was the target product we desired.2.Synthesis and characterization of the catalyst of phosphotungstic acid salts.Different phosphotungstic acid salts were synthesized by the method of ion exchange as phosphotungstic acid and inorganic salts were taken as the raw materials.The products were characterized by FT-IR,XRD,BET and TEM.The synthesized phosphotungstates were used as catalyst in the esterification reaction,the effects of the type and amount of phosphotungstate salts on the content of monoesters in the esterification reaction together with the mechanism were researched.3.Physicochemical properties of dodecyl phosphate monoester?MAP-K?.The surface tension of MAP-K was measured using K12.The results showed that potassium alkyl phosphate had superior ability to decrease the surface tension of water than potassium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate according to the lower?CMC values.The CMC and?CMC of MAP-K were 2.58 mmol/L and 29.21mN/m.The sample showed better surface activity when monoesters and diesters were mixed in a suitable ratio.Dynamic surface tension and dynamic contact angle were tested to investigate the absorption behaviors in the air/water interface.It could be learned that the adsorption rate of MAP-K in aqueous solution was lower than normal surfactants.As a result,when the time reached the limit of the instrument,the surface tension appeared the trend of reducing.The aggregation behavior of MAP-K was investigated using dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy,the results showed that MAP-K could form aggregates in aqueous solution when the concentration was larger than CMC.The particle size of the aggregates was approximately 220 nm.4.Application properties of dodecyl phosphate monoester?MAP-K?.The wetting ability,emulsifying capability,detergency ability were investigated of the MAP-K and the mixed system of MAP-K and AEO9 or IC13O6.The results show that the mixed system of MAP-K and IC13O6 showed superior performance than AEO9.The antistatic properties of monoester salts were measured.The results showed that the antistatic properties of MAP-K were slightly better than those of other types of salts.
