| The State Council of The People’s Republic of China decided to implement a national franchise for the Chinese tobacco industry in 1981,the Tobacco Monopoly Bureau and China National Tobacco Corporation were formally established in 1984.These two organizations will effectively control the whole tobacco industry.At present,China’s tobacco companies generally adopt the method of Key Performance Indicator)for performance management.Although it can be more intuitive to show business profits of the company,performance evaluation only based on EVA economic value increase.And that brings some unavoidable shortcomings,like the singleness and lag of financial indicators,and failing to provide non-financial information such as customers,employees,processes,and innovation.On the other hand,on the corporate level,it is difficult to truly reflect the overall performance of an enterprise by measuring its operating results with financial indicators alone.It is also impossible to reveal the motivation driving the performance of an enterprise in depth,and thus to give full play to the guiding role of enterprise performance management in the development of an enterprise.China’s tobacco enterprises should adjust their performance management methods because of their needs.From the perspective of enterprise performance management,based on the relevant theory of balanced scorecard,this paper takes Tobacco Company in C City as an example,using the quantitative and qualitative analysis method.Based on the analysis of the current situation and existing problems of performance management of Tobacco Company in C City,it is clarified that the direction and method of further improvement of performance management system of Tobacco Company in C City.The four dimensions of the balanced scorecard are standardized,and the weight of the overall indicators and specific indicators of each dimension is set,and the application or obstacles are foreseeably put forward.And corresponding countermeasures.Finally,while putting forward the conclusion of this paper,it also puts forward the prospect and assumption of the theoretical trend and practical application of the Balanced Scorecard in the future.This thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction.The second part is the relevance analysis between performance management and balanced scorecard.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of C tobacco companies performance management.The fourth part is the design of C tobacco companies performance management index system.The fifth part is the application of the Balanced Scorecard in the operation of tobacco companies in C city.The sixth part,conclusion and prospect. |
