The electric arc furnace system has nonlinear and time-varying characteristics.At the same time,due to the strong coupling effect between the three-phase electrodes of the electric arc furnace,the control effect of the three-phase electrode is seriously affected.In the past,the conventional PID control algorithm was used to adjust the electrode of arc furnace.Aiming at the above problems,in this paper fuzzy PID control algorithm is used to control the electrode system of arc furnace,by using fuzzy algorithm to adjust the PID parameters online to solve the problems of nonlinear,large lag and strong coupling of arc furnace electrode adjustment system.On the basis of reviewing a lot of literature,the working principle of iron alloy smelting in arc furnace is introduced in this paper.Aiming at some problems for the electrode adjustment system of arc furnace,a mathematical model of the electrode adjustment control system of arc furnace is proposed,and a fuzzy PID control algorithm is established to control the electrode adjustment control system of arc furnace.Firstly,based on the analysis of the working mechanism of the electrode adjustment system,mathematical models of electrode voltage change and current change in the electrode adjustment system of the arc furnace are established,as well as a mathematical model of the implementing mechanism of each link.Through the search of the actual parameters of the factory and related documents,the transmission functions of each execution mechanism are established,including the rectification filter link,the amplification link of the thyristor AC circuit,the AC torque motor,the mechanical transmission device,and the speed feedback link.Secondly,based on the introduction of conventional PID control and fuzzy control algorithm,the fuzzy PID controller of electric arc furnace electrode is designed by combining the fuzzy inference ability of fuzzy algorithm and PID control algorithm.The PID control algorithm and fuzzy PID control algorithm of the electric arc furnace electrode adjustment system are simulated and analyzed based on Matlab.Through simulation analysis,it is found that the conventional PID control is not as effective as the fuzzy PID control in the adjustment of arc furnace electrode in terms of adjustment time,rise time and overregulation.Therefore,the advantages of the fuzzy PID control algorithm in the electrodeadjustment system of arc furnace are verified.Finally,in the practical application,an electric arc furnace electrode adjustment system based on PLC is established,and the PLC hardware system and software flow chart of the electric arc furnace electrode adjustment system are designed.It lays a foundation for the application of fuzzy PID control algorithm in the electrode adjustment system of electric arc furnace.
