| In recent years,the serious environmental deterioration brings a huge crisis to human,which makes people have to consider the effects of natural environment while considering the economic benefits in the manufacturing processes.As a way of considering environment effects,"Low carbon manufacturing " has become a major topic around the word.As a bridge between design and manufacture,process planning plays an important role in ensuring the machining quality,improving the processing efficiency,reducing the cost,energy consumption and carbon emissions.A process planning optimization model is proposed to minimize the carbon emissions and completion time according to the influence of process planning for completion time and carbon emissions.The completion time includes processing time of parts processing and the conversion time of processing resources,and carbon emissions includes the carbon emissions caused by energy consumption of machine,material consumption of cutting-tools and cutting fluid.The optimization of cutting parameters is a continuous problem,and the selection of machining methods,processing sequence and processing resources are discrete problems.Then a hybrid strategy of bird swarm algorithm and NSGA-II algorithm be proposed and the multi-objective optimization model of process planning are divided into two parts:(1)Cutting parameter are optimized by using Bird Swarm Algorithm(BSA);(2)the cutting parameters obtained by bird swarm algorithm are taken as initial solutions,and four kinds of mutation operators are designed to make selection of machining methods,processing sequences,machine tools and cutting tools,the optimization problem of process planning model can be solved and a better process planning scheme can be acquired by the hybrid strategy of NSGA-II algorithm and bird swarm algorithm.The experimental tests are conducted on an instance of multi-processes of one part by using the hybrid strategy of bird swarm algorithm and NSGA-II algorithm.The computational results and comparisons verify the validity of the model of the proposed process planning optimization model for reducing carbon emissions in the manufacturing process.And a better process planning can better reduce carbon emissions by analyzing the composition of carbon emission,the sensitivity of cutting parameters and the effect of processing resources on carbon emission. |
