In this paper,according to vacuum transfer process,inks and adhesives for vacuum transfer film were synthesized and applied to the vacuum transfer process.And the ink and adhesives were evaluated by performing performance tests on their transfer products.For the ink,polyurethane modified epoxy resin(PU/EP)was first synthesized as an ink binder and dendrimer polyamidoamine(PAMAM)was synthesized as a curing agent,and the structure of the synthesized products were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy.Then the non-isothermal DSC method was used to study the optimum curing conditions of PU/EP-PAMAM system.Finally,A series of inks were prepared from PU/EP,PAMAM,fillers,leveling agents,defoamers,pigments and solvents,etc.,and the hardness,toughness,and gloss of the cured coatings were tested,and the performance differences between different ink formulations were analyzed.The results show that when the ink formulation is: solvent 45%,PU/EP-PAMAM 45%,pigment 7%,additive 3%,it has excellent overall performance.For the adhesives,saturated polyester(PES)and vinyl acetate resin(TVVM)were selected as the matrix of the adhesive,and the two resins were modified by the method of reaction compatibilization to improve the compatibility.The specific method is as follows: Firstly,the bifunctional monomer EHPA was synthesize to modify TVVM,and finally a micro crosslinked structure(PES-g-TVVM/EHPA)was prepared from the two resins with diisocyanate as the reactant.The changes in compatibility were studied by differential scanning calorimetry,thermogravimetric analysis,scanning electron microscopy,softening point,and mechanical properties,and the prepared binary blends were A series of hot-melt adhesives were prepared by adding hot-melt adhesives,viscosity modifiers,fillers,and antioxidants,and their properties were tested.The relationship between the amounts of different components and their properties was analyzed.The results showed that when the mass ratio of each component of the hot melt adhesive was: PES-g-TVVM/EHPA50wt%,synthetic wax 18wt%,C5 15wt%,Ca CO3 15wt%,BHT 2wt%,its overall performance was the best.Finally,using the prepared ink and hot-melt adhesive as raw materials,a vacuum transfer film was prepared,and the ABS plastic plate was decorated by the flims,while the transfer process(temperature,pressure,time)was studied.The decorative surface of the plastic board was tested.The results showed that the bestperformance of the decorative surface was: pencil hardness 4H,adhesion grade 1,acid and alkali resistance and weatherability grade 2,impact resistance 31 cm.The above results show that the inks and adhesives prepared in this paper can be applied to vacuum transfer technology.
