In aviation,which is indispensable in aviation industry and the sealing valve material.But roughness and vertical roughness on the surface of the polyimide materials restrict the advance of polyimide sealing valve technology,due to the poor roughness and smoothness between two pieces of the valve does not match,resulting in a loss of the sealing performance.And the characteristicsof soft and easy to damage of polyimide materials cause thesealingperformanceof polyimide sealing valve reduced during repeated use,which is also a problem to be studied urgently.First,this paper introduces research background and the status of the polyimide materials,especially about abrasive machining technology,and the reason we choose the polyimide as the valve seal,which as a result of the polyimide in high vacuum with good sealing performance,makes the material in aviation and space environment can guarantee the sealing performance better.The second,we explain the research purpose of this article.To solve the bottleneck technique that limit the promotion of polyimide valve seal sealing performance,based on the successive iteration grinding technology,from the corresponding relations between the technology and surface quality of polyimide,and automatic precision machining technology of the polyimide valve seal,the technology that how to clean and removal the surface attachments and the evaluation standard of ultraprecisemachining quality,we carried out this researchfrom the above aspects,focusing on the problem of promoting polyimide valve seal sealing performance,and acquire the process technology of high quality product and mass production.Then,we conduct the following researches:first is the grinding mechanism and removal speed,and the corresponding relationship between grinding process based on successive iteration grinding technology and the surface quality of polyimide;second,the polyimide valve seal automation precision processing technology research;third,we studied the removal and cleaning attachments on the surface techniques in the processing of polyimide valve seal.Finally,we has carried on the ultra-precision machining quality evaluation standard research on polyimide valve sealing pair.We established the ways of implementation,that is aimed at the polyimide valve seal sealing performance improvement as the research object,through the ultrapreciseautomaticgrinding,the detection and characterization of surfacemicrostructure,removal of attachment on the surface by the supersonic wave,the seal sealing performance test and some other method,to improve polyimide valve seal sealing performance,and the service life of the valve and the percent of pass.
