The Synthetic Study Of Heterocyclic Compounds With Iodonium Salts

Nowadays,hypervalent iodine compounds have been widely used in organic synthesis chemistry and attracted more and more attention from chemists for their diverse advantages such as easy to prepare,mild reaction conditions and high reaction activities.Particularly,diaryliodonium and vinyliodonium salts are often activated by metal catalysts and form highly reactive metal species to react with different kinds of nucleophilic reagents to construct many important aromatic compounds.Recently,chemists found that the diaryliodonium salts can not only be used as arylation reagents but also can build cyclic compound for their activity of ortho carbon.To our knowledge,heterocyclic compounds are widely existed in the natural products and have been widely applied in various fields.Therefore,we are going to design simple substrates to react with iodonium salts to build functional heterocyclic compounds by cascade annulation.1、 we firstly designed vinyliodonium salts to react with simple nitriles and alkynes(alkene)to build pyridine derivatives.It is a new method to build pyridine compounds and realize the substituents regulation of pyridines.2、 we designed the reaction of diaryliodonium salts,nitriles and aldehydes to build benzoxazines.By this way,we can rapidly synthesize various benzoxazine compounds with different substituents to enrich the benzoxazine synthesis methods.3、 We also utilized diaryliodonium salts and 2,1,3-benzoxadiazole to construct kinds of phenazine derivatives.It is a great method to build asymmetrical phenazine derivatives.4、In the end,a reaction of diaryliodonium salts with N-hydroxyl amides was carried out to form catechol monoesters by O-arylation and radical rearrangement.In this paper,a new idea to utilize the iodonium salts to build many heterocyclic compounds has been put forward.By using simple substrates and reaction conditions,we have realized the rapid construction of many heterocycles.Meanwhile,the free regulation of the substituents and the regulation of regioselectivity have been achieved as well.
