At present,the tobacco industry in China occupies a very important position in the national economy,making a great contribution to the development of the modern national economy.In terms of the manufacturing level of cigarette machinery,domestic large-scale cigarette machinery manufacturers have improved the ability of cigarette machinery manufacturing to some extent after years of technological accumulation,but there are still many core technologies between many cigarette equipment and foreign advanced technologies.The large gap has severely restricted the development of domestic cigarette manufacturing machinery.At present,many domestic cigarette factories still use advanced foreign-made cigarette equipment.Therefore,getting rid of the monopoly of foreign advanced manufacturing technologies has become the main task of cigarette machinery in China.The filter tipping machine is one of the three major components of the cigarette unit.It is mainly used for the bag connection between cigarette rods and filter rods.This part is a high-risk area that causes cigarette quality defects.This article uses the MAX70 filter crimping machine as the research object.The task is to analyze the causes of the quality defects of the cigarettes,and to find a reasonable way to improve the equipment to reduce the defective rate of cigarettes.Firstly,the process of cigarette filter tipping process was analyzed,and the categories of cigarette defects generated during the filter crimping process were statistically classified,and it was concluded that the tipping,crimping,and faulty defects of the tipping paper were overall.The proportion of cigarettes with inferior quality accounts for nearly 70% of the total,and the location of the corresponding defects is observed and analyzed to find out the causes of the cigarette defects.Then,according to the analysis,the main reason for the quality defects of cigarettes is that due to the unbalanced force of the group of cigarettes rolling around on the stern plate,and the instability caused by the transmission of smoke between the drums,the use ofSolidworks to correlate Modeling of parts and components,and simulation analysis of the movement process of the group of tobacco filter plugs on the arc boring plate,and the deviation of the axis position after collision between the group smoke and the lintel plate blocking ribs is found to occur in the subsequent rolling process.The increasing deflection angle leads to the unbalanced distribution of the cigarettes,which causes the cigarette filter plugging defects.In order to eliminate the collisions between the cigarettes and the bottom surface blocking ribs,the new flat tape splicing method was investigated and the simulation results were obtained.Compared with the simulation results of the arc plate splicing,it is concluded that the flat belt splicing can reduce the crimping defects of the cigarette filter to a certain extent.Finally,according to the relevant knowledge of fluid dynamics,the adsorption capacity of negative pressure holes of each cigarette conveying drum was calculated,and a corresponding improvement method was proposed.Fluent software was used to simulate the flow field of the blowhole of the drum and the simulation results were compared.It shows that the improved suction capacity of stoma vacuum is significantly better than that of existing drum vents.This paper analyzes the causes of the defective quality of the cigarette filter,and puts forward the corresponding improvement methods.The simulation analysis of the improved parts of the equipment using relevant analysis software has certain reference value for reducing the defects of the cigarette filter.
