With the rapid development of computer technology and modern design technology,numerical control process technology has also been established.Nowadays,the urgent demand for numerical control machine tool in the manufacturing industry makes the application scope of numerical control machine tool continue to expand.Besides,it continuously develops in order to satisfy the needs of more production and processing.For the manufacture of micro-miniature parts,it can not only improve space utilization,reduce energy consumption,but improve machining efficiency easily and achieve high precision motion control to use micro-miniature machine tool.Therefore,research and development of micro-miniature machine tool are widely focused on.This project has designed and developed a three axis miniaturized CNC milling machine on this basis.Firstly,the paper studies the development status of three axis miniaturized CNC milling machine at home and abroad,according to the basic principles of machine tool structure design,the general requirements for the design of three axis miniaturized CNC milling machine were put forward,the technical parameters and layout of the machine tool were designed.Secondly,I made the selections of the critical component for spindle system,feed system,control system of the machine tool,and established a 3D model by SolidWorks software after detailed calculation and analysis.Then,the machine’s simplified 3D model was imported into ANSYS Workbench finite element software so as to do the finite element analysis of the main structural unit and the whole machine.It obtained static stiffness and static stress distribution by static analysis,obtained the first six natural frequency and the vibration modes by model analysis.It analyzed whether the structure met the design requirements and found the weakness parts of the structure.After that,the paper optimized the defeats during designing the machine’s structure,remodeled the optimized machine tool,made the static and dynamic characteristics analysis of the key parts and the whole machine again,compared the analysis results with the original results.It was proved that the static and dynamic characteristics of the optimized machine tool was better than those before optimization and the design requirements were satisfied.Finally,the machine tool prototype was set up.
