With the development of science and technology, advancement of manufacture, modern machine was asked to be higher capability, like higher speed, higher precision and higher flexibility, besides the requirement of machine's weight being light, lower cost, convenient application and good technical capability.In order to guarantee the lathe has good moving rigidity, dynamic characteristic, precision keeping and processing technology quietly, need to carry on systematic dynamics analysis to the lathe during the process of designing and making the lathe, in order to can accurate discovery limit lathe dynamic weak link that performance raise rapidly, realize designing dynamically fast, in a flexible way, offer the basis with rational science for structural design of the lathe.Base on the theory and method of structure dynamic, with the design of CNC milling tool YH603, we focusing on the characteristic of the lathe bed and pillar. The contents are as follows:1. The development and present situation of the fields correlative of the dynamic design and experiments technology to mechanical products is reviewed and summarized, and the aim, meaning and the research content in the paper is set forth.2. Using SolidWork 3D design software to built the machine tool entity model. Import finite element model to the ANSYS software for static analyses.3. Using the ANSYS to analyze modal, find the weak points of parts.4. Carry on dynamic analysis about the lathe bed and pillar, such as the natural frequency, responding to the structure humorously, etc. Investigate and redesign the structure, and improve the lathe bed's and pillar's dynamic performance.5. By altering the layout and thickness of the inner ribs, the dynamic characteristics of the upright column are calculated. It can be used to economize materials and acquire the requirements.6. Analyze the lathe which is manufactured according to the redesign structures, the contrast of original and improved statistics shows that the research is well.
