As a common mechanical component,the rotary body is used in automobile,petrochemical,aerospace and other fields in the form of spindle,plunger and pump barrel.The machining of the surface structure of the rotary body is mainly through the traditional machining equipment such as ordinary lathe,engraving milling machine and machining center,and using the cutter to process the surface with the way of contact processing.However,it is difficult to process complicated surface topography,especially non-symmetrical structure,on the surface of the rotary body parts.With the progress of science and technology,the multi-axis processing technology is becoming more and more mature,which will effectively solve the above problems.However,multi-axis CNC machining center and cutting tool's own cost will lead to the improvement of parts manufacturing cost.Moreover,it is not suitable for machining small size surface structure due to the limitation of the tool's own size.Meanwhile,the wear of the tool will increase the production cost.Currently,laser processing as an advanced processing mode,and the laser processing has the advantages of non-contact,energy concentration and small environmental pollution,and it has become more and more important in the processing field.so It is widely used in surface machining of workpiece.Based on the advantages of laser machining for surface processing of workpieces,this paper takes the common plunger type workpiece as an example,aiming at the machining of the surface graphics of the plunger type workpiece,this paper puts forward the plan of replacing machining with laser machining and develops a device for surface machining of plunger type workpiece,it can realize the surface processing of the plunger workpiece with different lengths and diameters by using the rotary translation double axis splicing machining method.The main research contents of this subject are as follows:Firstly,in this paper,a systematic study on the surface processing device of the plunger type workpiece is carried out,the device includes the mechanical structure,the laser system and the control system,and this paper introduces each part intensively.Secondly,use COMSOL Multiphysics software to simulate the laser processing,and study the influence of different power and scanning speed on temperature field distribution and processing depth.Finally,according to the needs of processing,design the related experiments for the plunger surface graphics processing,and use metallographic microscope to test the splicing effect of splicing place and the depth of the processing.Through the detection of the splicing effect of splicing place and the depth of the processing,the feasibility of the machining device and the accuracy of simulation results are verified.
