Palladium-based nanocomposites possess widespread application in direct alcohol fuel cells. In this dissertation,polyoxometalate-Pd nanocomposites were successfully prepared by simple methods, including Pd/phosphotungstic acid/RGO,PdNi/RGO/phosphotungstic acid,AuPd/RGO/phosphotungstic acid nanocomposites.A series of characterizations were employed to verify the morphology, structure and elemental composition of the as-prepared nanocomposites.Furthermore, the electrochemical catalytic performance of the nanocomposites towards alcohol oxidation in alkaline media were investigated by changing the composition ratios.Notably, nanocomposites exhibited better catalytic activity and long-term stability towards alcohol electrooxidation compared with commercial Pd/C catalyst.Experiment results revealed that the prepared nanocomposites were attractive as promising electrocatalyst for direct alcohol fuel cells. |
