Analysis And Improvement Of Highway Traffic Safety In Southwest Mountainous Area

With the development of the strategy of our country,the construction of infrastructure in southwest area accelerates,and the construction of expressway from Sichuan to mountainous area is large.In the southwest of China,some highway lines need to overcome the large height difference in the shorter route,form the long and downhill section,and the route located in the bad weather area may be above the snow line,which leads to the emergence of the frozen road.Vehicles in such areas as the growth and decline,ice and snow sections of the road when driving,easy to appear too fast,brake failure and instability and other dangerous conditions,resulting in huge casualties,economic losses.From the angle of highway construction,how to guarantee the traffic safety of these sections becomes a difficult problem to be solved urgently in highway design and Operation unit.In order to further improve the traffic safety level of expressway in southwest mountainous area,to accurately grasp the high speed security situation and traffic characteristics in southwest mountainous area,this paper takes YaXi highway as a typical example,carries on the field investigation,obtains the Ia?i high speed big longitudinal slope section,the Ice and Snow Road section and the safety control countermeasure andBy analyzing and comparing the data,the paper makes clear the present situation of traffic safety of Ia?i Expressway and the effectiveness of relevant safety measures,combined with the statistic analysis of Ia?i high speed accident data,it is indicated that the special section(Long longitudinal slope and ice and snow section)with high high traffic safety risk should be analyzed and ensured.Based on the results of the study,this paper puts forward the countermeasures for improving the traffic safety of the expressway in southwest mountainous areas,including active safety countermeasure,passive safety countermeasure and traffic management measures,in order to improve the "multidimensional control ability" of highway.At last,taking YaXi highway as an example,the special section is identified,and using different traffic safety countermeasures to identify the Ia?i high-speed special section of the Traffic Safety Project Improvement,a total of optimization of traffic safety facilities,including the new measures and improve the improvement measures,can effectively improve the speed of the traffic safety level.
