At present,the treatment process of wastewater treatment plant in the world has achieved a certain degree of removal of dissolved organic matter(DOM).but this is a process of energy consumption,in order to solve this problem,people began to study the removal efficiency of microbial fuel cell operation process for various types of DOM.Finally the resource utilization of activated sludge was realized.Double chamber aerobic bio cathode microbial fuel cell was used in the experiment,The pretreatment of sludge before and after ultrasonic lysis as substrate of the MFC,the production of electricity and its sludge protein,polysaccharides,heavy metals were compared.It can been seen that the sludge after ultrasonic lysis after pretreatment,the initial reaction voltage growth accelerated markedly.In addition,the removal rate of various substances in the reactor was higher.Through the orthogonal test,the influence of the initial p H value of sludge,anode electrode diameter and electrode distance on the reactor operation was studied,and the optimal combination conditions of reactor operating conditions were p H value of 7,anode electrode diameter of 8cm,and distance of cathode and anode electrode of 6cm.Finally,in order to further understand the MFC treatment of activated sludge,the changes of various organic components and the transfer transformation between them were studied by using infrared spectrum detection method.The experiments showed that a lot of organic components in EBOM was dissolved after ultrasonic treatment technology,the content of DOM in the sludge supernatant increased significantly,and DOC increased rapidly from the initial 3.97mg/L to 38.61mg/L.The organic matter in EBOM was declined,among them,the UV-254 was declined markedly.The hydrolysis of the microorganism in the anode chamber can effectively degrade the large molecules in the activated sludge.The cathode chamber in the aerobic environment,the microbial hydrolysis and absorption and utilization effects are more intense.And because of the presence of oxygen in the cathode chamber,we can found that the anode chamber in the sludge organic matter removal effect is better.
