At this stage,the tobacco baking is mostly carried out in the bulk curing barn,and most of the equipment of curing barn baking promoted by the market still use coal as the main fuel,which causes the utilization rate of heat energy less than 35%,and amazingly leads the heat loss to 65%.In addition,the burning of traditional fossil fuels to provide the heat for the tobacco baking also brings more pollution to the surrounding environment.Therefore,researching on the heating equipment for the bulk curing barn,looking for new energy to substitute the traditional fossil fuels,reducing the pollution and the cost have become an important topic for the tobacco baking.The main contents and results of this study are as followings:(1)Based on the research of the existing biomass burners,according to the principle of combustion science,in accordance with the thermal performance demands of the product and the standards of tobacco curing house,the maximum heat requirement for tobacco baking is calculated to be 1.3×10~5KJ/h,fuel quantity to be 7.27kg/h,the air volume to be 5.02 m~3/min,exhaust smoking quantity to be 4.72Nm~3/kg,and the theoretical combustion temperature is calculated to be 1170?.Based on the calculated data,a reasonable and optimized analysis is carried out to provide a basis for the theoretical design of the burners'structure.(2)According to the data calculated above,the parameters such as size,power,revolution number,and air intake volume of the equipment are reasonably designed so that the parameters of each part of the burner basically satisfy the calculated data,and then the structure diagram of the burner is designed according to the plan,which provides the basis for the actual production of the burner.(3)The designed burner is actually produced and tested in the field.After testing on the feeding,slag removing,ignition,and combustion of the burner,the relational test data are obtained and analyzed.According to the test data,the structure of the burner and the working time of each part of the apparatus are optimized and improved,so that the burner can satisfy the heating demand for the tobacco baking.By the experiments,the optimized parameters of each part of the burner are as followings:when the rotation speed of the feed screw is 70r/min and the feed volume is 1.7kg every 3 minutes,the ignition time of the burner is the shortest;when the rotation number of slag removing device is 45r/min with the starting time of 12 minutes and the interval time of 10 minutes,the best effect of slag removing is achieved.And by the turning of the slag screw,the opportunity of the fuel contacting with the air increases,which achieves the best combustion effect;with the inlet cross-sectional area of 0.15×0.22m,when the number of holes in the inner wall of the furnace is 16×18 and the ventilation volume is 4.22m~3/min,the temperature increasing rate of the burner is fastest and the actual maximum combustion temperature is 831°C.This paper optimizes the design of the burner and improves the time of feeding and slag removing,the combustion,the air distribution and so on.This study also achieves sufficient combustion and slag removing.
