Photopolymerization has attracted many attention and research because of energy saving,environmental protection and high efficiency.Epoxy acrylates are an important oligomer in the industry of photopolymerization and are widely used.But they were many shortcomings.At present,most of the modified materials for epoxy acrylate are from non-renewable petrochemical products.In this paper,the replacement of petroleum chemical products with renewable fatty acids is used to modify epoxy acrylate,which can alleviate the shortage of resources,reduce the ecological environment damage,and also obtain the environment-friendly oligomer.In this paper,epoxy resin was modified by dimer acid and oleic acid,and their properties were tested and studied as follows:1.In various proportion,that epoxy terminated and carboxyl terminated intermediate were obtained with dimer acid and epoxy resin E51.each having two different molecular weights,and then react with acrylic acid and methacrylic acid respectively and obtain four difunctional UV-curable resin that with various degree of dimer acid.The reaction process was detected by acid value and infrared spectrum.The effect of different factors on resin photopolymerization was studied by means of FTIR,The effects of dimer acid content on the resin curing materials were investigated by means of film's performance,DMA,TG and tensile tests.The results showed that the photoinitiator 184 and 1173 had better initiation effect on the modified resin,and the polymerization degree of the modified resin was higher than that of the resin 6104y.The addition of dimer acid is good to improve the flexibility of the resin and it has slightly effect on the resistance to acid,alkali,salt and water,but it reduces the hardness,adhesion,glass transition temperature and elastic modulus of the resin.According to the experiment,the content of dimer acid in the resin should not be higher than 60%,otherwise the adhesion and hardness of the curing membrane will be seriously affected.2.We used plant oleic acid replacing parts of acrylic to react with epoxy-epoxy E51 and E44,and got two kinds of single-functional UV-curing resin OE51 and OE44.The reaction process was detected by acid value and infrared spectrum.The resin and its curing kinetics were studied,and the basic properties,thermal stability and tensile test were investigated.Results showed that the viscosity of the resin is lesser at 60?,viscosity of OE51 and OE44 was 0.6 Pa.,s and 1.6 Pa.s.The curing rate of resin was lower than 6104y,but the final curing degree was higher than 6104y.Resin curing film flexibility is very high,but poor adhesion and hardness.So it's not suitable for itself to directly use as a coating and it needs to be blended with monomer and additives,In addition,it can be considered as additives of brittle material to play a good flexibility.
