Tundish is one of the continuous casting.To research each strand consistency is important for multi-flow tundish.The perfect condition is that each strand has the same condition.To consider molten steel flow,inclusion and temperature behavior of consistency is important.The analysis of each strand consistency in the tundish is important.In this paper,according to the principle of similar,a steel mill six-flow T small billet caster tundish as a prototype for physical experiment,the hydraulics of intermediate steel fluid flow model is established,parameter design of the tundish on the retaining wall flow guide hole more groups of solutions.In the mathematical simulation,FLUENT commercial software was applied to establish the mathematical model of the intermediate package,and the temperature and inclusion removal rate of each water inlet in the middle package were analyzed and calculated.Finally,by calculating the consistency relative standard deviation of each scheme,the design scheme of the middle packet retaining wall of the six-flow is analyzed.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)The T-type six-strand continuous casting tundish retaining wall design diversion hole height 150 mm,angle 15 degrees,diameter 60 mm,the average relative standard deviation of each nozzle RTD minimum 0.1605,the average relative standard deviation of inclusions entering the minimum of 0.0864.(2)Tundish retaining wall diversion hole height 100 mm,angle 15 degrees,diameter 20 mm,the average relative standard deviation of each nozzle temperature minimum 0.1834.(3)Tundish RTD consistency,consistency of each nozzle temperature and inclusion consistency of each nozzle are all considered.The average relative standard deviation of the tundish retaining wall structure is the 0.3682,the best consistency of each nozzle.(4)Based on the longer average residence time,the design parameters of the diversion holes in the six-tundish are consistent.The height of the diversion holes is 10 mm,the angle is 15 degrees and the diameter is 40 mm.
