The slope stability of the dump is related with the safety production of the mine and people’s life and property,while rain is one of the main reasons leading to the instability of the dump,it is very necessary to study the influence of rain on the dump slope’s seepage field and leading to failure on the slope.Taking Laoling dump of Gongchangling open mine as engineering background,exploring the influence of rain on dump slope’s seepage field and stability,which takes the method of combining field investigation,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The main research works are as follows:(1)According to the engineering practice,establishing a numerical simulation model by the SEEP/W module of two-dimensional finite element software Geo Studio,calculating the dump slope transient seepage field of different rain intensity and rain duration,summarizing variation laws of pore water pressure and volumetric water content with time and space.(2)Based on the conclusions of the transient analysis,analyzing the slope stability under rain by the SLOPE/W module,focusing on the effect of different rain intensity,rain duration and rain patterns on the slope stability.(3)Analysing the influence of separation fissure at different position on the slope seepage field under conditions of rain,and comparing variation rules of slope stability with vertical fissure at different position.
