In recent years, the global tea growing area, tea production and tea consumption have been steadily increasing.Tea has become one of the world's three largest non-alcoholic beverage, there are more than 160 countries(regions)about 3 billion people like to drink tea.China is the first country to discover, utilize and cultivate tea in the world. The tea industry has become an important part of the agricultural industrialization of our country. Its healthy development is related to the sustainable development of our agriculture, the construction of a new socialist countryside and the improvement of the living standard of the peasants. Therefore, our government has paid more and more attention to the development of tea industry. In order to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of the tea industry, various measures have been taken to ensure the quality and safety of tea.The quality and safety of tea not only relates to the health of the people and the reputation of the state, enterprises and operators, but also reflects the level of scientific production and technological progress in a country. In recent years, the overall pass rate of tea products has been steadily improving, and tea products have entered the stage of high quality development. However, with the increasing attention to nutrition and health and the increasingly stringent quality standards of importing countries, new challenges and requirements have been put forward to the quality and safety of tea products in China. In order to fully investigate the status of the quality and safety of tea in China, provide a detailed basis for ensuring the safety of consumption and provide the necessary support for the "green barrier" in the international trade of tea, this paper systematically introduces the standard system of tea quality and safety and the quality and safety inspection project of tea in our country. The quality monitoring of tea producing county and tea circulation market is analyzed and analyzed, and the state of the country in recent years is also analyzed. The national quality supervision and inspection center of tea quality supervision and inspection and the test results of tea samples commissioned by the enterprises were summarized and analyzed.Taking the time as the main line, the quality and safety level of tea in China has been steadily improved, which is generally good.In 2011-2005,China National Center of Quality Supervision and Inspection of Tea detected more than 10 thousand samples. The qualified rate of pesticide residues(excluding Dicofol)was above 95%,and the qualified rate of lead, rare earth and sensory quality items was above 90%.The average qualified rate of national supervision samples in 2007 was 84.6%,and the qualified rate of organic tea product inspection in 2008 was 97.1%.In addition, the results of spot checks in local tea producing areas and Tea Circulation markets were good. The pesticide residues and heavy metal content of tea samples in China tea market(Xinchang)during the period of 2012-2014 were far below the limit stipulated in the national standard. In 2017,the results of the sample of spring tea from the hometown of the famous Dragon top tea in Zhejiang province showed that the detection of tea sample pesticide residues and heavy metals was far below the national standard limit.Through the analysis of the problems found in the quality and safety inspection of tea products in recent years, the key links and main control points that affect the quality and safety of tea are summarized, and the relevant measures to improve the quality and safety of tea are also put forward.
