With the steady development of higher education,college dormitories become the places where students use the most frequently.Dormitory air quality directly affects the learning efficiency and physical health of students.In spring and summer,most dormitories use natural ventilation.In autumn and winter,due to the low outdoor temperature,dormitory doors and windows closed,pollutants can not be discharged outdoors in time,posing a serious threat to the health of students.This topic mainly studies the indoor air quality problems in the dormitories of the northern universities.There are many kinds of pollutants in student dormitories.And in this study,the pollutants were simplified into a mixture of CO2,NH3 and TVOC.Using a thermal ball anemometer,a RS-C02-N01-2 carbon dioxide transmitter and a QC-2B atmospheric sampler to measure the speed and concentration of pollutants.This study uses gambit software to set up the student dormitory physical model and the division of the grid structure.Ten kinds of ventilation programs were designed for dormitories in different seasons.ANSYS software was used to simulate the student dormitories under different working conditions.The pollutant concentration distribution,velocity vector,velocity cloud and temperature distribution figures in dormitories under different working conditions were obtained.According to the simulation results and the measured results were compared and analyzed to verify the feasibility of the simulation.Through the simulation results,analysis of the best form of ventilation.During the natural ventilation in spring and summer,the pollutants in the dormitory can be effectively discharged outdoors,and the pollutant concentration values meet the requirements of indoor air quality standards.In autumn and winter,mechanical ventilation is conducted.According to the numerical simulation study,when the dormitory is mechanically ventilated,it is conducive to the discharge of pollutants,creating a comfortable learning environment.At the same time as the additional outlet caused the infiltration of windows and doors gap to reduce the wind speed,reducing the consumption of cold air infiltration heat,so the dormitory mechanical ventilation play a positive impact.The results of this study are summarized as follows:The best way is only opening the door in spring,the reference wind speed is average 0.1721m/s and the CO2 concentration is average 0.03531mg/m3.The best way is opening the door and windows in summer,the reference wind speed is average 0.1198m/s and the CO2 concentration is average 0.02008mg/m3.In autumn and winter,the best way is replacement that the air of flow rate is 2m/s.The reference wind speed is average 0.0324m/s and 0.0331m/s.The CO2 concentration is average 0.05015mg/m3 and 0.06472mg/m3.In this way,the dormitory not only meets the hygienic requirements of indoor air quality,but also minimizes the increase of energy consumption and meets the requirements of sustainable development.
