Assessment Of Forest Health Care Function Of Shunan Bamboo-sea Based On Environmental Quality

Shunan Bamboo-sea is the largest bamboo ecosystem in the world with the most richest bamboo species.It is the first batch of 4A scenery spot in the country.In the past years,traditional tourism had made a great contribution to the vigorous development of scenery spot.However,through the rapid growth of the previous years,the scenery spot is facing the problem of declining tourism attraction.In order to maintain its sustainable development,new growth points need to be identified and explored.Developing health-care industry serving for elderly population can be a promising way to promote the further development of Shunan Bamboo-sea,which can be achieved by an integration of a traditional tourism and other opportunities such as recreation,vacation,and physical and mental healing.The quality of the environment is the most important element in determining whether the scenery spot is suitable for the development of tourism,and especially the construction of the forest health-care industry.This research uses the advanced equipment,methods and techniques,under the guidance of ecological principles and theory,to conduct a quantitative assessment of environmental quality and landscape visual environment s aims at the Shunan Bamboo-sea,the of the forest and the were evaluated and compared.We went to the Bamboo-Sea in April,August and December,and conducted the evaluation of forest ecological environment quality and the landscape visual environmental quality.We choose human feeling comfort degree,air dust,and air anion as key environmental factors,which are considered as a close relationship with human health.We used the questionnaires and analytic hierarchy process to analyze and compare the landscape visual environmental quality and picked out the scenery area with the better environmental quality.It is our hope to provide some technical supports for further construction and development of the scenery spot.Through this study,the following conclusions can be drawn: Long-lasting human feeling comfort occurs in the Shunan Bamboo-sea and the content of negative air anions is high as well,while the concentration of air dust is lower than the urban area.In April and August,it is suitable for various outdoor activities.In December,the human feeling comfort is poor and not recommended to stay in outdoor for a long time,while the concentration of air dust is lower than the urban area,the concentration of air dust in urban air is 2~4 times of scenery areas,The air anions of scenery areas is 15 to 20 times of urban areas,the instantaneous maximum value of air anions is as high as 80000/m3,and the daily average of air anions is also much higher than 10000/m3.Thus,Shunan Bamboo-sea is suitable for the development of the forest therapy industry with excellent health care functions.Among the selected scenery areas,Promenade of Jade and Yingfeng Bay have the best quality of landscape visual environment,followed by Qinglong Lake,Colorful Waterfall,and Longyin Temple.Combined with the quality of the ecological environment,Yingfeng Bay,Qicai Waterfall and Qinglong Lake are the best scenic area suitable for implementing the preparatory construction of forest therapy in initial phase.
