Tourist destination as a carrier of tourism activities, the study of its resilience is a new perspective of the current study of sustainable tourism development.Based on adaptive circulation theory and Panarchy theory, paper uses the two major aspects of vulnerability and response capability and the three subsystems of society, economy and ecology as focal points, and selected 26 key indicators to construct a resilience evaluation system with stability landscape for socio-ecological system of tourism destinations. In particular, using the set pair analysis method to measure and compare the social-ecosystem resilience of the Shennongjia forest district in 2004-2016,and to explain the vulnerability, response capacity, and resiliency timing changes of system;and using correlation analysis to analyze the correlation between factors and resilience,to reveal the mechanism and laws of social-ecosystem resilience in tourism destinations. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The resilience framework of socio-ecological system of tourist destinations based on a stable landscape is composed of the social, economic, and ecological subsystems' vulnerability and response capacity, and is the result of the joint action of the two.Among them, the vulnerability mainly includes two kinds of social stability factors and social welfare factors of social subsystems, the tourism economic development and social livelihood of economic subsystem, the ecological background and the interference of the tourism activities of the ecological subsystem.System responsiveness mainly consists of social expenditure and social storage of social subsystems, economic income and economic investment of economic subsystems, and ecological investment and ecological governance of ecological subsystems.(2)From 2004 to 2016,the social-ecological vulnerability index of the Shennongjia Forest was between 0.4154 and 0.5814,showing a slowly rising trend and remained in the middle-fragile stage; The response capability index is between 0.1321 and 0.8797,showing a rapid growth trend and is divided into weak, medium, and strong three response stages.Under the interaction of the two,the system resilience index is between 0.2766 and 0.7409,showing a steady upward trend, which is divided into three recovery stages of weak, medium and strong, and reached the highest value in 2015,and is still in the stage of strong resilience.(3)Through the analysis of the social-ecosystem resilience of the Shennongjia Forest Region,it is concluded that the improvement of system resilience is the result of the joint action of the three subsystems of society, economy, and ecology. The vulnerability of the ecological subsystem has the greatest impact on the vulnerability of the total system. The response capacity of the economic subsystem has the greatest impact on the total system response capacity. The resilience of the social and economic subsystems has an important impact on the overall system resilience.According to the correlation analysis, the correlation between coping ability and resilience is relatively large, especially factors of the social and economic subsystems.(4)The factors of the social-ecosystem impact on the nature and way of influence of resilience are different. The nature of impact is divided into two types of positive and negative, and types of influences are divided into Increase or decrease of linear and nonlinear, which the main influence is nonlinear.Different stages and different factors have different types of resilience, and their impact properties, methods, and rates also have differences.
