2017 is an important year for China’s "13th Five-Year" plan,and the supply side reform of the steel industry will also go forward in depth.There is no doubt that the whole industry has entered a deep transformation and adjustment,which is not optimistic.The outstanding characteristics of China’s iron and steel enterprises still show that the level of value creation is not high and the profit is low.The cost of steel is rising,the supply and demand are not equal,and the competition is fierce.The high density of investment and output,the long development cycle and the large amount of cash flow in the iron and steel enterprises make its capital chain risk higher than most of the industry,and the demand for the flow of cash flow is large.Therefore,it is very important for iron and steel enterprises to do well in the management of working capital and ensure the reasonable circulation of cash flow.Starting from the working capital management of M iron and Steel Co.,this paper first analyzes the theoretical basis of working capital management,expounds the theory of operating capital management based on elements and the management theory of operating funds based on channels,and analyzes the performance evaluation of the financial risk dimension and the turnover efficiency dimension of the operating capital management of the enterprise.Price index.Secondly,according to the way of data analysis and field interview,the basic situation of M Steel Corp is analyzed from its existing management system and financial data.Then we will observe the current situation of M Steel Corp’s working capital management through qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis by means of factor analysis and channel management theory.The research and analysis of M iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.in working capital management system,the efficiency of capital use and financial risk three aspects of the problems and from the industry points and management means to analyze the cause of the problem.Finally,according to some defects of M iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.,combined with some experience in the management of actual operating funds,it puts forward four improvement measures to improve the fund structure,improve the management level,set up the assessment index and strengthen the construction of internal control in accordance with the problems found.Because there is still a deeper understanding of working capital management and M steel company’s understanding,so there are still some shortcomings to be improved.
