As a by-product of the caprolactam production process,cyclohexene oxide has attracted considerable attention for its in-depth development and utilization.The preparation of acrylate oligomers for radiation curing formulations by cationic ring-opening polymerization has significant theoretical and application values.This paper first synthesized a series of polycyclohexanediol monoblock acrylate oligoether,and then reacted with polyisocyanate to obtain the target product,and then explore the film forming properties of the target oligomer.In this paper,single-factor experiments were used to investigate the ring-opening polymerization of cyclohexene oxide.The study found that the suitable reaction conditions for hydroxyethyl acrylate as starter were as follows:temperature was 0-10℃,ethyl acetate was used as solvent,the volume ratio of solvent to raw material was about 1:1,and the polymerization time was about 5 hours.The optimal amount of catalyst for synthesizing polycyclohexanediol monocapped acrylate oligomer was explored.When hydroxyethyl acrylate is used as the initiator,the mole ratio of catalyst to the molar ratio of epoxycyclohexane or epoxycyclohexane to tetrahydrofuran is 1:3,1:6,1:10,or 1:5:2.It is 5%,6%,12%or 6%of the starter.When glycerol acrylate methacrylate is used as the starter and the mole ratio of epoxy cyclohexane or epoxy cyclohexane to tetrahydrofuran is 1:6 or 1:3:2,the molar amount of catalyst is 5%or 6%of the starting material.When pentaerythritol triacrylate is used as the initiator and the molar charge ratio of epoxy cyclohexane or cyclohexene oxide and tetrahydrofuran is 1:3 or 1:3:2,the molar amount of catalyst is 5%or 6%of the initiator.The highest average viscosity of the synthesized polyether and copolyether was moderate.The low-polyether and poly isocyanate were reacted to form radiation-curable oligomers.The film-forming properties of the series of oligomers were investigated.From the viewpoint of the film forming performance of synthetic oligomers,the higher the content of carbon-carbon double bonds in the molecular structure,the better the curing speed and adhesion,and the higher the pencil hardness,and the lower the flexibility.The higher the content of the rigid six-membered ring,the greater the hardness,but the lower the adhesion and flexibility.The longer the molecular chain,the greater the hardness of the pencil,the polytetrahydrofuran can significantly increase the flexibility;the overall performance is good.
