The Research Of Portable Furniture Designing Towards To Renting Crowds

With the growth of the floating population,housing prices remain high and the expanding of the leashing market,current furniture configurations of renting apartments are not able to satisfy the demand of life,and this issue has been emerged.This paper set solving problem as the breakthrough point,carried out an investigation regarding to the status of the rental housing and renting crowds based on the methods of literature search,interviewing and questionnaire survey.First,this paper not only pointed out the significance of the portable furniture to the renting crowds but also explained how to grasp their realistic demands.Moreover,based on the specific researches and case study,this paper combined the environment of the rental housing and the renting crowds' characteristics,summarized a guiding principle of the portable furniture designing that respects to size,functionality,structure and material that is facing to the renting crowds.According to survey,the following features of renting crowds were found that include frequently moving,majority age range from 20 to 30,preferring small area housing.By interviewing the typical tenants who live in Shang Hai,the different demands of furniture between those renting crowds and other people were found.After that,a related online survey was followed,it gave a relatively more detailed information about the furniture demands of those respondents.After the market survey and case study,giving a point that the design features of the portable furniture should be matched to the demands of the renting crowds.According to the survey and research about small area furniture designing and portable furniture,this paper comes up with a point that it is important to consider the space seperation problems and the advantage of foldable features when designing portable furniture for small apartments.In the end,by performing design practice,this paper gives an overall explanation with the aspects of functionality,structure,material and size for how to design the portable furniture that can further more conform to the demands of the renting crowds.
